Refill Bags

  • 200g of powdered preparation for the filling of the Pastéis de Nata


The refill bags are the perfect addition to the Pastéis de Nata Baking Kit and let you enjoy the baking experience again and again. Each bag contains enough powdered preparation to bake 12 pastéis de nata, making it easy to recreate the iconic flavor and creamy texture at home.

Ideal for sharing, gifting, or keeping on hand, the refill bags ensure that your Portuguese café moments can continue whenever you like.


Simply rebake and enjoy again! 



Instructions

  1. Hand-wash the moulds before use
  2. Pre-heat oven to 250°C
  3. Unpack puff pastry and work it into a long roll
  4. Cut puff pastry in 12 equal sized pieces
  5. Fill powder in a bowl and mix it with 400 ml of milk until well combined
  6. Fill warm water in a small bowl or cup. Place a piece of puff pastry in each mould
  7. Slightly wet your thumbs, take  the mould in your hands and use your thumbs to press puff pastry from center upwards until it overlaps the edge of the mould. Repeat for all moulds.
  8. Fill 2/3 of each mould with prepared filling
  9. Place the moulds on a tray and put it in the oven
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until you see caramelisation on the surface of the Pasteis de Nata (brown spots)
  11. Take out the tray and let the Pastéis de Nata cool down for 10 minutes

Instruções

      1. Lavar as formas à mão antes de as utilizar
      2. Pré-aquecer o forno a 250°C
      3. Desembrulhar a massa folhada e fazer com fique na forma de um rolo comprido
      4. Cortar a massa folhada em 12 pedaços iguais
      5. Colocar a farinha numa tigela e misturar com 400 ml de leite até ficar bem combinado
      6. Colocar água morna numa tigela pequena ou numa chávena. Colocar um pedaço de massa folhada em cada forma
      7. Molhar ligeiramente os polegares, pegar na forma com as mãos e utilizar os polegares para pressionar a massa folhada do centro para cima até esta se sobrepor ao rebordo da forma. Repetir para todas as formas.
      8. Encher 2/3 de cada forma com o recheio preparado
      9. Coloque as formas num tabuleiro e leve ao forno
      10. Deixe cozer durante 12-15 minutos até ver caramelização na superfície dos Pasteis de Nata (manchas castanhas)
      11. Retire o tabuleiro e deixe os Pastéis de Nata arrefecerem durante 10 minutos
