Prepare Your Workspace: Cover your table if needed and lay out the canvas, paints, and brushes. Fill a small cup with water for cleaning your brushes.

Start Painting: Match each numbered paint to the corresponding numbered area on the canvas. Begin with larger sections or lighter colors if preferred.

Work in Thin Layers: Apply thin, even coats of paint. Let each layer dry before adding another coat if necessary for full coverage.

Clean Your Brushes: Rinse brushes thoroughly when changing colors and dry them gently with a paper towel.

Let the Painting Dry: Once finished, allow your artwork to dry completely for at least 24 hours.

Display Your Artwork: Your finished painting is ready to frame or display as a beautiful reminder of Portugal. Avoid direct sunlight and clean gently with a dry, soft cloth if needed.

How to Paint Your Tile

  1. Clean the tile with a dry, soft cloth
  2. (Optional) Use a stencil or lightly sketch your design with a pencil
  3. Apply a thin, even layer of acrylic paint with a small brush
  4. Let dry, then apply a second coat if needed
  5. Allow to dry completely (min. 24 hours)
  6. Apply a thin, even coat of varnish with the large brush
  7. Let cure for several days in a dust-free space
  8. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth
